Fried Eggs with Thyme

Fried Eggs with Thyme

I was trying to be creative this morning with the fresh thyme in my possession – the usual target – Cherie’s .

Try this. Put a little oil in the pan – spread it around a bit. Put small bunch of leaves at various places in the oil – break the egg into a bowl and then carefully pour it over the thyme, over the oil. Sprinkle a little over it too. Cover and cook on a low flame.

The thyme penetrates the egg while from top and bottom, giving it a nice flavor and looking very pretty too.
