Ya SPAMMING is one ugliest thing in Virtual world.
Most of it is now generated by bots which automatically generate these SPAM emails.

But, Im talking abt real ppl, are they DUMB or wot?

Even a dog learns after one mistake, but these ppl do the same mistake again n again.

They are concerend only when there is a THREAT to there job.

Whenever I give my email ID to any person, I always mention to them:
a. Do NOT send me any useless email and NOT to add my email ID in CC. They can use it in BCC.
b. Do NOT give my email to any promotion campaign. They should ask for my permission first.

A guy did this once, even after mentioning this. I called him as soon as I read his name as referer and gave hime a good BASHING on the phone and he never did it again.

I feel like kicking a** of such ppl.

They think nothings wrong in it, an online identity is a virtual identity of a person in the real world. It should be taken seriously!

These days, I unreservedly click on the 'spam' button in gmail. Indian companies are rapidly becoming major spammers and any number of requests don't help. It was only when I was quite rude to one chap and also initiated a mail surge to their email Ids, did these idiots stop spamming me.

Its same problem everywhere in India. Can't say about rest of the world since it hasn't happened till now by my friends in US, Europe etc or client around the world, they are careful I guess or their company policies might be strict.
I think Indian don’t either know about CC & BCC or else they are REALLY DUMB!!!
Ofcourse they really don’t care!
It’s happened many times in my professional life.
Many of my colleagues have simply fw: mass mail w/o realizing that all the other recipients will also receive the same mail.
Many times companies’ secrets have been revealed by careless fw: emails.
You won’t believe not only ppl at lower level but senior level have done this and once our SMART ASS office accountant revealed very confidential information of all employees.
This happened in most Indian IT companies I have seen, specially in our field.
I keep requesting to my senders and friends not to fw me junk or timpass/joke emails that reveals my email ID to all other in the chain.

This problem also helps increasing SPAM every time.

Ppl also fill in others email, whenever they see any online promotion that ask them to give any 5 email IDs or refer them to their friends. I never do that.

Again thats SPAM. Without recipients' consent.

Well what to say now. Can you also disclose the name of your friend who had a rough night? {we can have another laugh}.
Anyway, one end of the story is really amusing, but thinking of that guy..hmmmm... he must have gone thru a lot. :)

That's not really funny. I don't think Sameer is amused either after that faux pas. However several people could be having a great laugh!
