Mustard Chicken Curry

This is a very simple curry that will only take you a few minutes to make, without looking for anything special. You’ll need:

Simple Chicken Curry
  • Chicken
  • Black Mustard Seeds
  • Diced onion(s)
  • Diced tomato(es)
  • Kadi patta
  • Ginger paste
  • Garlic Paste
  • Chilli powder
  • Green chillies
  • Aamchur powder
  • Haldi powder

Method:

  1. Heat oil. Add mustard [crackle], haldi, chilli powder, salt. Stir
  2. Add Ginger and Garlic paste. Fry. Add onions. Fry.
  3. Add tomatoes, aamchur powder, kadi patta, green chillies. Fry.
  4. Add some water. Bring to boil.
  5. Add chicken. Cook.
  6. Thicken if you like. Serve with rice or rotis.
