I just recieved the books which I ordered… one of them was this book….recipes looks good but I miss more pictures, to see how it looks when it is done Every recipe havs its own page and if recipe is shorter the rest of page is just white….there I would like to see the photo of the dish…. it is waste of paper I guess…but I will sure cook few of the recipes soon.

I am a dietician and if my clients ask me for healthy eating joints then Torrp it Up is one of the places I recommend, their thai tofu and soya patty torrp is quite healthy for non-uveg people any of the chicken or fish sandwiches will do, just stay away from the fattening sauces and desserts.

Chena is used sweets like rassogulla and gulabjamuns and similar stuff – sondesh may or may not be chena but khua plus there are a number of fried pastry (flour) products

first of all thank you for such a nice review.. But my dear i am not patronizing anyone when I call Torta fritta ” italian Poori” because I still call them that even when i am making them.. They look like pooris!

Agree on point 3 on ” do not likes” cent percent, something to watch out for in the next book

But really thanks a million for this great writeup

Ps. My life revolves around my restaurants, so you will have to forgive me if they come up often in my conversations!
