Situated on the first floor, right above the Oaktree restaurant, Attitude is spacious and well laid out with an overwhelming focus on red, a large well stocked bar and a stage all set for live music. Yes, you read that right – Attitude has live music with different themes on different days of the week. If you like Jazz do be sure to be at Attitude on Wednesdays! Featuring a separate smoking area with seating, minimalist decor and a fairly elaborate snacks menu, Attitude seems all set to take on older players in the same space in Gurgaon.
Diving into the menu just as soon as we were seated, we found ourselves in the midst of quite a few very tempting dishes and were hardpressed to pick from them. We really can’t be blamed… not with Mushroom Picantes (Rs 175), Crisp Shiitake & Tofu (Rs 195), Chicken Wings in a Blue Cheese Dip (Rs 195) and Crisp Batter Fried Asian Farm Prawns (Rs 345). We finally ended up with a Bruschetta (veg), Five Hummus Platter and Calamares a la Romama. The Bruschetta was the perfect companion to their house white wine – thick slices of crusty bread topped with a chopped basil, garlic, black olives, olive oil and seasoning, it was subtle and delicious! The five hummus platter came with a collection of breads and 5 kinds of dips – Ranch, Thai Peanut, Yogurt, Hummus and Baba Ganoush, each of which was prepared in house and well executed. Finally, we gorged on some delectable, crisp batter fried Calamari (squid) that came with creamy aioli (garlic mayo). To wash all of this down, we chose a banana Margherita, the house white wine (an Australian Chardonnay we were told) and a well mixed Mojito.
Run by two entrepreneurs Shiva and Rishi who have each spent more than 18 years in the hospitality industry, Attitude is professional in its approach to service and the deep involvement of its founders shows in every little aspect of it’s operations.
They say time passes when you’re having fun. The clock struck 12 before we knew it and since turning into pumpkins wasn’t really an acceptable option, we had to leave. I would strongly recommend visiting Attitude any day of the week – each day has it’s own charm depending on your preferences.

ooh la la
I completely agree with you , Sid. Attitude is really a ‘must visit’ place and its just that not many people in NCR are aware of its presence. I liked their ambiance, food (and also the pricing!), and live music they have. The day errr the night I was there they had a live band (Cassini’s Division from Kolkata) performing there. And they have happy hours too. And their website is pretty cool.
Sid, I like the way you write and everything about Attitude is so very true to the point. Love reading your blog every time, all the time!
