Buddy’s Broaster, Infinity Towers, Gurgaon

ThumbsDown Buddy’s Broaster has 5 outlets in Delhi and Gurgaon and is a direct competitor to KFC. It probably has a tough job ahead.

We tried the Buddy’s Broaster Burger, Aloo Tikki Burger, French Fries, Potato Wedges and Cold Coffee at the DLF Infinity Towers outlet. Not taking into consideration the hygiene factor at KFC, about which I’ve heard sad things of late, I felt the KFC Zinger Burger to be much better than the Broaster Burger. I would like to add though, that the Buddy’s Broaster Burger was also pretty filling and juicy. Had I not tasted the KFC Zinger Burger earlier, I would have loved it.  The Potato wedges were good too and I liked them better than the French Fries.

Buddy Broaster has picked a great location within the cluster of offices at DLF Infinity Towers. No one really likes to go a long way to pick up fast food and with marginal difference in taste, experiments will probably yield acceptable results.

Price-O-Meter: Rs 200 for a meal for 2

  • Broaster Chicken Burger: Rs90
  • Aloo Tikki Burger: Rs30
  • Large Fries: Rs45
  • Potato Wedges: Rs45
  • Capuccino: Rs25
  • Cold Coffee with Ice Cream: Rs49

Ed: Pawan’s review is contrary to my experience at the Supermart outlet, where service times were excruciating and the product delivered was substandard. Either they’ve improved their processes and product since then or the Supermart outlet was mismanaged. Also, the picture used on the front page isn’t from Buddy’s Broaster and is a stock photo.
