Hao Shi Nian Nian is a 140 cover, fine dining, specialty Sichuan restaurant, featuring private dining areas and live music performances. Two floors of seating and a lovely lounge complete the scene. Did you know Hao Shi Nian Nian is a Chinese toast which means, “to the good life”?
Hao Shi Nian Nian has a separate menu for it’s ethnic Chinese customers and is one of the few restaurants I know of who do so. I tried the Lamb with Dry Chili, Potato Balls in Spicy Salt, Shrimp and Mixed Vegetables in Black Bean Sauce, Lamb and Onion Dumplings, Shrimp Dumplings, Shanghai Chicken Mini Bun, Pan Fried Mushroom Dumplings and finally the HSNN Pudding. I also tried the HSNN Tigress cocktail which was a damp squib. Avoid. Apart from the Potato Balls, which seemed to be based on McCain’s Potato Bites, the meal was well above average and quite good. When you’re there, don’t miss the Garlic and Ginger dip. I sampled the Ducks Feet, Pork Tail and Pig Ears too, which were simple and delicious.
I recommend Hao Shi Nian Nian for an excellent overall experience any day. Accompanied by family, friends or business acquaintences, you’re sure to have a great time!
I last heard that Hao Shi Nian Nian now serves Indian food as well. I don’t know the reason, but am not sure I like that change. Also, you won’t get the separate menu unless you ask for it.

I ate there when it just opened, they served us simple Basmati rice when we asked for sticky rice, I had 2 F&B guys from 5 star hotels with me, when they questioned the service staff we were told that the Basmati was actually sticky rice. The HSNN team did not even acknowledge that there was a problem. We were sorely disappointed. I have been back only once and that too at other people’s insistence. That time too I thought the food was just average. I found China club much much nicer.
def need to try out the GK 2 outlet. Its just 5 mins walk and ive never been there
