Hi Mirchee, Sector 12, Dwarka

ThumbsDown Hi Mirchee is a 70 cover restaurant in sector 12, Dwarka; right next to Ayushman Hospital. The food scene in Dwarka appears to be stuck in the 1990s with most places proudly displaying decade old menus to a resigned public. Hi Mirchee, apart from the name which I find quite cheery; isn’t very different; 90′s decor, service and food all the way.

We ordered a Paneer Seekh kebab (160) for Cherie and Lahori Murgh Tandoori (255), Dal Makhanwali (130), Raita (50) and Rotis for the table. The seekh kebab was sprinkled with a few white specs that I assume was paneer in a kebab of a cream colored, springy, fairly tasteless substance. The murga was cooked alright, but coated in spices that hadn’t cooked yet and the dal was abominable. Our Raita comprised whipped yogurt poured atop a pile of rancid boondi and garnished.

Ravenous, we polished off most dishes. The quality of food and service ensured we will do our best not to repeat the offence.
