Fall Cocktail Recipes

Who says you can’t enjoy a cocktail when the cooler weather sets in? There are many cocktails that are just perfect when the summer season lets go to a cooler fall season. Here are some cocktail recipes and drink ideas to try out with friends while gathered around your firepit!

 

Baileys Caramel Appletini
When autumn arrives you can’t help but think of the most popular fruit of the season, which is of course the apple! Now combine a caramel accent to an apple cocktail, and you’ll be loving this fall cocktail sensation!

Ingredients:

  • 1 ounce Baileys Caramel Irish Cream
  • 1/2 ounce Smirnoff Green Apple Flavored Vodka
  • 1 slice of an apple
  • 1 teaspoon caramel

Directions:

  1. Add Baileys Caramel Irish Cream and Smirnoff Green Apple Flavored Vodka.
  2. Shake with ice and strain into a pre-chilled martini glass.
  3. Garnish with an apple slice and caramel.
  4. Serves 1.

Hot Toddy
When I hear the cocktail name “Hot Toddy”, I think of a classic cocktail that was famous decades ago. Well, this classic is making a come back and is the perfect fall cocktail to enjoy with family and friends.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/3 ounce bourbon (a quality brand is preferred)
  • 1 teaspoon fine sugar
  • 2 small cloves
  • 1 1/2 ounce of boiling water

Directions:

  1. Add the bourbon, fine sugar, and cloves in old-fashioned glass or mug.
  2. Add 1-2 oz. (or more, if desired) boiling water and stir.
  3. Serves 1.

Old Fashioned
This updated twist on an old classic will surely have you serving that second cocktail.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ounce Crown Royal Reserve
  • 1/2 ounce amaretto
  • 1/4 ounce simple syrup
  • 3 dashes bitters
  • 1 piece orange peel

Directions:

  1. Stir ingredients in a shaker with ice.
  2. Strain into rocks glass.
  3. Serve chilled neat and garnished with an orange peel.
  4. Serves 1.

Ginger Snap Cocktail
This cocktail recipe includes all the tastes of all in one delicious cocktail. Takes from Hostesswiththemostess.com, you be handing out the recipe to all your guests before they leave.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ounce Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum
  • 1 ounce ginger brandy
  • 4 ounces eggnog
  • 1 ginger snap

Directions:

  1. Add Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum, ginger brandy, and eggnog in blender.
  2. Blend to desired consistency and pour into glass.
  3. Garnish with ginger snap for dunking if desired.
  4. Serves 1.

Pumpkin Pie Martini
Nothing else symbolizes fall more than apples than pumpkins! Give this fun and tasty cocktail a try at your next Girl’s Night!

Ingredients:

  • .5 ounce Sylk Cream Liqueur
  • 2 ounces Vanilla vodka
  • .5 ounce Pumpkin liqueur (or pumpkin spice syrup)
  • 1 tsp Whipped cream

Directions:

  1. Pour the Sylk Liqueur and vodka into a shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Add the pumpkin liqueur or syrup. Shake again.
  4. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  5. Top with a teaspoon of whipped cream.
  6. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
  7. Serves 1.
